Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most before writing.

Does the initial guidance cost anything?

No. The initial guidance is free: we talk about your case and tell you which procedures may apply.

How much does the service cost?

It depends on the procedure, the authority and your case. We do not publish prices because two cases that look alike can be very different. In the initial guidance we explain how we work.

How long does a procedure take?

It depends on the procedure, the authority and whether your file is complete. That is why we do not give general timelines: we guide you on your specific case.

Do you guarantee I will get the permit?

No. The decision belongs to the authority. We help make your application clear and complete and respond to whatever the authority requires.

Are you a government agency?

No. C&LN is a private firm that helps you with your procedures. We are not affiliated with any authority.

Which states do you cover?

We work in Mexico City, State of Mexico, Morelos, Querétaro, Puebla and Hidalgo. Every borough, municipality and state has its own rules, so we review your specific case. If your project is in another state, write to us and we will see whether we can help.

Do you work in English?

Yes. You can write to us in English or Spanish.

Do you work with foreign companies?

Yes. We help identify and manage the permits and licenses needed to operate in Mexico. We do not form companies or handle tax or immigration matters.

What information do you need to start?

For the initial guidance, a general description of your case is enough. If you hire us, we tell you which documents are needed. Please do not send bank details or passwords.

Have a pending permit or a question?

Tell us about your case. The first guidance is free.
